1. What Wayfound Is

Wayfound is an AI-powered information and navigation platform that helps families of children with disabilities discover, understand, and access government services, benefits, and resources. Wayfound provides personalized guidance, document analysis, eligibility matching, and deadline tracking.

Important: Wayfound is an information tool, not a legal, medical, or financial advisor. While we strive for accuracy using verified sources, our guidance does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, or professional advocacy. Always verify important decisions with qualified professionals.

2. Your Account

You must create an account to use Wayfound. You are responsible for:

Wayfound's platform, knowledge base, AI models, design, and brand are our intellectual property. Your use of Wayfound does not grant you any ownership rights to our platform or technology.

Content you create (family profiles, documents, conversations) remains yours. Content we generate for you (analysis, letters, reports) is licensed to you for your personal use in navigating disability services.

10. Limitation of Liability

Wayfound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wayfound's liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. During the free beta period, this amount is zero.

Wayfound is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or advocacy services. For complex cases — IEP disputes, fair hearings, conservatorship filings, or medical decisions — always consult with qualified professionals. Wayfound can help you prepare, but it cannot represent you.

11. Termination

You may stop using Wayfound at any time by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with notice when possible.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Wayfound after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
